Summer 2008      Volume 6, Issue 4     www.sandywatercolor.org

OUR OUR CLUB IS IN JEOPARDY. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

We have changed our name to the Sandy Watermedia Guild (SWG).  It has a little more class to it and we are having classy artists as guests and our shows are offering great awards, so it makes sense.

Bobbie Halverson is stepping down from the position of President. Below is a description of the positions that are now open for your nomination. Bobbie will not take on the President or Vice President positions, but will take on one of the other positions. This is on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you want to do a position next year (especially if you are doing it now), contact Yvonne Paterson for your nomination as soon as possible, before July 31, 2008. If the position is filled, I hope you’ll think of taking another one.

Yvonne can be contacted at 553-2793 or via email.  She is the only one taking the nominations.

If you take on a position any information or assistance to help you be successful will be available to you. Every organization needs new blood running it to provide new ideas and opportunities.

Our next meeting is August 21st. Bobbie will open the meeting, introduce the new officers and then hand it over to the new President. If offices do not get filled by July 31, 2008, the organization will be in jeopardy of not going forward.
